  • The Selection Process is based on the Examination, followed by document verification.
  • The Examination consists of Paper-I & Paper-II (Computer Based Examination and written examination).

 

SSC Junior Engineer Exam Pattern 2022:

Paper-I(Objective Type): Computer Base Mode:

  • Paper-I will be conducted in computer-based mode with a total of 200 marks.
  • The SSC JE Question paper will be set General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Engineering (Civil & Structural, Electrical, Mechanical).
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.
  • Candidates are not allowed to bring their own Slide–Rule, Calculator, Logarithm Tables
    and Steam Table for Paper-I.

SSC Junior Engineer Answer key 2022:

  • Answer Keys will be placed on the Commission‟s website after the Examination.
  • Candidates may go through the Answer Keys corresponding to their Test Form and submit representations, if any, within the time limit given by the Commission through on-line modality only, on payment of Rs 100/- per question.
  • Any representation regarding Answer Key received within the time limit fixed by the Commission at the time of uploading of the Answer Key will be scrutinised, and the decision of the Commission in this regard will be final.

SSC Recruitment Junior Engineer Syllabus 2022:-

  • The standard of the questions in Engineering subjects will be at the level of Diploma & Engineering in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical.

General Intelligence & Reasoning:

  • The Syllabus for General Intelligence would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type.
  • The test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualisation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, et.

General Awareness:

  • Questions will be aimed at testing the candidate‟s general awareness of the environment around him/ her and its application to society.
  • The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries, especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, and Scientific Research, etc.

General Engineering (Civil):

  • Building Materials, Estimating, Costing and Valuation, Surveying, Soil Mechanics, Hydraulics, Irrigation Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering.
  • Structural Engineering: Theory of Structures, Concrete Technology, RCC Design, Steel Design.

General Engineering(Electrical):

  • Basic concepts, Circuit law, Magnetic Circuit, AC Fundamentals, Measurement and Measuring instruments, Electrical Machines, Fractional Kilowatt Motors and single phase induction Motors, Synchronous Machines, Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Estimation and Costing, Utilization and Electrical Energy, Basic Electronics.

SSC Junior Engineer Minimum qualifying marks:

Resolution of tie cases:

In case  more than one candidate secure the equal aggregates marks in PaperI+Paper-II, the tie will be resolved by the following conditions:

  • Total marks in Paper-II.
  • Date of birth, with older candidates, placed higher.
  • Alphabetical order of the Candidates name will be considered.

 

SSC Delhi Police Head Constable Recruitment 2022 Application Fee :-

  • Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only).
  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with disabilities (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Process SSC Delhi Police Head Constable Recruitment:-

  • The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the examination in ‘Computer Based Examination’ (CBE) Mode on Pan India basis depending on the number of applications from different states and UTs. The Computer Based Examination would be conducted in English and Hindi only. PE&MT will be conducted by Delhi Police at Delhi only. Delhi Police will provide schedule and centres for PE&MT to SSC.
  • Skill Tests/Trade Tests for all the posts will be conducted by Delhi Police. Depending on the feasibility, the result of Skill Test/Trade Test will either be uploaded on the web-tool or provided to SSC in electronic form by Delhi Police.
  • Selection will be made on the basis of: Computer-Based Objective Type Test – 100 Marks, Physical Endurance and Measurement Test -Qualifying,Trade Test by Delhi Police,Test of English Word Processing by Delhi Police Speed-1000 key depression in 15 minutes.
