Salary:-As Per Govt Rules

 

Qualification:-

• Level-5: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent.
• Level-4: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent (OR) Pass in 1st Year B.Sc. (Physics) or a pass in 12th (+2 stage) in Higher Secondary in Science (Physics or Maths) (OR) 12th Pass or equivalent examination from a recognised
  Board/University and for the skill test prescribed dictation speed of 80 words per minute duration time 10 minutes and transcription time is 50 minutes (English) and 65 minutes (Hindi).
• Level-3/2: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination for Non-
  Technical posts (OR) Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT (OR) 10th Standard Pass.

 

Examination Fee:-

• 500/- for General / Other candidates.
• 250/- for candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes.

 

Sports -Game:- Basketball, Chess, Water Polo, Athletics, Badminton, Cricket, Golf, Weightlifting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Volleyball.

 

Sports Norms for Recruitment:- The minimum sports norms for recruitment of sportspersons against sport quota through Open advertisement for both (team and individual) events shall be as under:-

• Represented the Country in any of the Category-B Championships/events (OR)
• At least 3rd Position in any of the Category-C Champions/events (OR)
• At least 3rd Position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Champions. (OR)
• At least 3rd Position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association. (OR)
• At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. (OR)
• 1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).

 

Categorization of International Championships:-

• Category-A: Olympic Games (Senior Category)
• Category-B: World Cup (Junior/Senior Category), World Championships (Junior/Senior Category), Asian Games (Senior Category), Commonwealth Games (Senior Category)
• Category-C: Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category), Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category), South Asian Federation (S AF) Games (Senior Category), USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category)

South Western Railway Sports Quota Recruitment Selection Process:-

• For game skill, physical fitness & coach’s observations during Trials – 40 Marks
• For assessment of recognized Sports Achievements as per norms – 50 Marks
• Educational Qualification – 10 Marks
