SAMEER Recruitment 2022 :-SAMEER was set up as an autonomous R & D laboratory at Mumbai under the then Department of Electronics, Government of India with a broad mandate to undertake R & D work in the areas of Microwave Engineering and Electromagnetic Engineering Technology. It is an offshoot of the special microwave products unit (SMPU) set up in 1977 at the Tata Institute Of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai. The centre of Electromagnetics, Chennai of the then Department of Electronics (DOE) was merged with SAMEER in 1987.SAMEER Kolkata centre was set up in 1994 for research & Development in Millimetrewave Technology.A new centre is being established at Navi Mumbai campus of SAMEER for augmentation of EMI/EMC FACILITY for CE Marking of Electronics products.

Salary:-

• Lower Division Clerk – Rs. 19,900/-
• Driver – Rs. 19,900/-
• Multi Tasking Staff – Rs. 18,000/-

 

Qualification- Experience:- 

Lower Division Clerk:

• 12th pass from a recognized Board/ University. Typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi, on Computer. Proficiency in Computer Operation

Driver:

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University. Must hold a valid light duty vehicle driving license. Having accident free record and ability to carry out minor repairs to the vehicle. Experience : Minimum five years’ experience in driving light duty vehicles

Multi Tasking Staff:

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.

 

Job Location:- Kolkata

 

Selection Process:-

• In case of LDCs, selection will be made on the basis of a two-stage written examination. The first stage examination will be of objective type and include questions related to General Knowledge, General English and General Mathematics. Only those who secure the cut-off

marks in the first stage examination will be called for the second stage examination, which will be descriptive type in nature and will test the candidates’ writing ability. The tests will be held in Mumbai. The written examination will be followed by the skill test.

• In case of Drivers, SAMEER may consider holding an objective type test, to assess the applicants’ knowledge of Hindi, English, traffic rules and working of a motor vehicle. In case of Multi Tasking Staff, SAMEER may consider holding an objective type test, to assess the applicants’ knowledge of Hindi and English.

• The candidates who have registered with BOAT (Board of Apprentice Trainee) Mumbai and are within three years of passing of qualifying exam are eligible to appear for the interview.
