NIT Calicut Recruitment: Set in a picturesque landscape at the foothills of the Western Ghats, National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) is located about 22 kilometers north-east of Calicut City. National Institute of Technology Calicut is a Technical Institution of national importance set up by an Act of parliament(Act 29 of 2007) namely, the National Institute of technology Act 2007, which received the assent of the President of India on 5th June,2007.

Qualification/ Experience :-  

Architecture and Planning:

• Three year Diploma in Computer Engineering or equivalent with minimum one year relevant experience in Auto CAD/GIS Software desirable.
• Three year Diploma in Computer Engineering or equivalent with minimum one year relevant experience in digital graphics/3 D modeling software desirable.
• Three year Diploma in Fine Arts/ Diploma or ITI in Architecture/Civil Engineering or equivalent with minimum one year relevant experience in digital graphics software desirable.
• Three year Diploma/ITI in Architecture/Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Three year Diploma in Architecture/Civil Engineering or equivalent

CED:

• Degree/Three year Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum one year relevant experience desirable
• Degree/Three year Diploma in Electronics Engineering with minimum one year relevant experience desirable
• Degree/Three year Diploma in Computer Engineering with minimum one year relevant experience desirable
• degree in Chemistry with minimum one year experience in analytical chemistry desirable

CHED:

• B Tech/Diploma in Chemical Engineering with minimum one year relevant experience desirable.
• Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum one year relevant experience desirable.
• Tech/Diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with minimum one year relevant experience desirable.
• M Sc. In Chemistry (Preferably Analytical Chemistry) with minimum one year relevant experience desirable.
• Three year Diploma in Computer science & Engineering with 1st class with minimum one year relevant experience desirable.

CSED:

• Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology or 3 years regular Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering/Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Hardware Maintenance/Computer Network Maintenance. Minimum one year relevant experience desirable

EED:

• Three year Diploma in Electrical Engineering/B.Tech Electrical Engineering with 1st class with minimum one year relevant experience desirable.
• Three year Diploma in Computer science & Engineering/B.Tech Computer science & Engineering with 1st class with minimum one year relevant experience desirable.
• Three year Diploma in Electronics Engineering with 1st class with minimum one year relevant experience desirable
• Three year Diploma in Computer Engineering with 1st class with minimum one year relevant experience desirable.

ECED:

• Three year Diploma in Electronics Engineering with 1st class with minimum one year relevant experience desirable

MED:

• COE (Certificate of Excellence) Fabrication, Fitting & Welding Or ITI Trade Certificate (NCVT) Black smithy/Forging & Heat treatment. Minimum one year relevant experience desirable.
• ITI Trade Certificate (NCVT) Carpenter/Pattern making Minimum one year relevant experience desirable
• ITI Trade Certificate in MMV (Motor Mechanic Vehicle)/MechanicDiesel (NCVT) Minimum one year relevant experience desirable.
• Tech Degree/Diploma in ME/ECE/EE/Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control/Mechatronics Minimum one year relevant experience desirable
• Tech Degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering Minimum one year relevant experience desirable.
• Tech Degree/Diploma in Computer Science (Computer Hardware/Software Maintenance)
• Tech Degree in Computer Science /MCA with First Class Minimum one year experience in PHP, Database Management System, Java. Project experience desirable

Mathematics:

• 3 years regular Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering with minimum one year relevant experience desirable.

Physics:

• Physics/M.Sc. Physics with minimum one year relevant experience desirable

Chemistry:

• Essential: Bachelor degree in Chemistry or related areas with minimum 60% marks or equivalent. Desirable: One-year experience as technical staff.

Biotechnology:

• Essential: Master degree in Chemistry or related areas with minimum 60% marks or equivalent. Desirable: One-year experience as technical staff.
• Essential: Three-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marksor equivalent. Desirable: One-year experience as technical staff

SOMS:

• Life Sciences or Biotechnology / B.Tech. Biotechnology

SMSE:

• Chemistry with First class (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA), hands on experience in synthesis of nanomaterials/characterization techniques such as FTIR is desirable.
• Physics with First class (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA), hands on experience in materials characterization/electrical property measurement is desirable
• Sc Physics/Chemistry or M.Tech in Materials Science and Engineering with first class (60 % or 6.5/10 CGPA) with hands on experience in field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM-EDS).

Centre for Career Development:

• Tech in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology or 3 years regular Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology/ Computer hardware Maintenance with minimum one year relevant experience is desirable
