CIPET Recruitment 2023.Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) (formerly known as Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET)) was established in 1968 by Government of India with the assistance of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at Chennai. The main objective of setting up of this specialized institute was to develop manpower in different disciplines of Plastics Engineering & Technology as no similar institute was in existence in the country. International Labour Organization (ILO) served as the executing agency.

During the initial project period between 1968 and 1973, the institute achieved the targets envisaged and was rated as one of the most successful UNDP projects implemented worldwide. Today CIPET is a premier Academic institution for higher & technical education under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India fully devoted in all the domains of plastics viz:- Design, CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling & Mould Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Testing and Quality Assurance. CIPET operates from various locations spread across the country to cater the needs of the Polymer and allied industries.

CIPET Recruitment Salary:-

• Assistant Technical Officer (Skill Development/Processing /Testing/Design/Tool Room/CAD/CAM): Rs.44.900/- pm
• Assistant Officer (Finance and Accounts): Rs. 44.900/- pm
• Technical Assistant Gr.III (Tool Room/Testing/Processing/Design (CAD-CAM-CAE)):Rs.21.700/- pm
• Administrative Assistant Gr.III : Rs.21.700/- pm
• Accounts Assistant Gr.III: Rs.21.700/- pm

CIPET Recruitment Qualification:- ITI, Graduate, BE, B.Tech, M.Sc, B.Com, MBA

Assistant Technical Officer (Skill Development/Processing /Testing/Design/Tool Room/CAD/CAM):

• Full time 1st Class in B.E./B. Tech in Mech/ Chem/Polymer Technology or equivalent with two years relevant post qualification experience. Full time 1st Class M.Sc. with specialization in Polymer Science with 3 years post qualification experience in relevant field of Polymers/Plastics

Assistant Officer (Finance and Accounts):

• Full time first Class B.Com with full time first class MBA (Finance) / Full time first class M.Com from a recognized University with 03 years relevant post qualification experience.

Technical Assistant Gr.III (Tool Room/Testing/Processing/Design (CAD-CAM-CAE)):

• in Mech. / DPMT/ DPT/ PGDPTQC/PGDPPT/PDPMD with CAD/CAM; with 01 year relevant post qualification experience. ITI (Fitter / Turner / Machinist) with 02 years relevant post qualification experience.

Administrative Assistant Gr.III :

• Graduation in any discipline from recognized University with minimum 52% marks. Minimum 02 years post qualification experience in handling Office Communications.

Accounts Assistant Gr.III:

• Full time first class Graduation in Commerce with working knowledge in Tally Software with 02 years relevant post qualification experience.
