Welspun Steel Ltd. (WSL) was established in 2004, recognizing the enormous potential in the steel industry. The plant is located at Versamedi Village, Anjar (Kutch).Welspun Steel manufactures Billets & Sponge Iron. Currently new project of Rolling Mills (Anjar TMT Steel Pvt. Ltd.) is under process which will be producing TMT Bars with capacity of 4 Lacs MT Tonnes PA. Company is in the process of setting up a manufacturing plant to produce pig iron and DI pipes.

Welspun Metallics have three production unit as Sinter Plant (Capacity 1800 MT per day) and Coke oven (Capacity 550 MT), Blast Furnace (Capacity -380 M3). These production unit will produce Pig Iron, Sinter, Coke respectively with high Quality. The DI manufacturing process starts with receipt, scrap charging and super heating of molten metal in induction furnace; pipes are centrifugally cast using molten metal; heat treatment follows in annealing furnace to give ductility to the pipes cast; lining and coatings are carried out to manufacture finished pipes.

Job Description :-

Functional/Domain Knowledge :

• Knowledge of Departmental Procedure Manual and work instructions.

Technical / Process Knowledge :

• Thorough knowledge about function of all areas of Hydraulic System, Lubrication System, Pneumatic System.
• Knowledge of planning, administration, maintenance and smooth functioning of maintenance department in the organization.

Knowledge of Various Tools :

• Knowledge of purchase department for vendor development and approval activities.

Computer Knowledge :

• Working knowledge of MS Office ( Excel & Advance Excel, MS Word and PPT)
